Dr. Bettencourt practices Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a respected dentist and will handle your teeth with skill and professionalism. His services are sought after by patients from the entire Algarve region as well as patients from abroad.
In late 1995, he moved to the Algarve (South of Portugal) where he did locum work in busy dental offices in Vilamoura and Albufeira. He later established his own practice in 1997 in fishing village of ALVOR with a vision of breaking the mould of the typical dental practice. In April 2010, he relocated to new modern premises in Portimão.
To keep abreast of the latest developments and techniques in dentistry Dr. Bettencourt has travelled extensively to the leading courses and dental practices throughout the world. Besides having a keen interest in the sciences, he also enjoys working with his hands in arts such as painting. These interests and talents have carried over into his profession.
Dr Bettencourt is a member of the Portuguese Dental Association, the Progressive Orthodontics Society and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Tony is married to Noémia and they are proud parents to two special children Thomas and Laura.

Dr. Harold Bettencourt qualified in Prague, Charles University, where he earned his MDDr. in 2010.
He has extensive experience as a general dental practitioner. His special interests are Endodontics and Implantology and he is committed to continued professional development, regularly attending courses.
He completed diplomas in Endodontics and Implantology in Portugal and Dental Acupuncture in the UK, which he uses it in daily dental practise.
Harold has a dedicated and relaxed approach and always takes the time to place patients at ease, he enjoys working with children.
